At this time of year, many homeowners are working on the beautification of their property and that is to be commended and encouraged.That said, it is important and necessary to follow the rules of disposal for tree trimmings per the following specifications: 

1. Tree trimmings shall be cut into lengths of not more than five feet

2. Placed at the curb for collection, but not on the paved portion

3. Weigh less than fifty pounds and not exceed ten inches in diameter.

Any accumulation of trimmings by tree surgeons, contractors, and others for hire must be handled by such service contractors. Cleveland is a beautiful city and it is the goal of our local officials and our residents to keep things that way, so we encourage our residents to follow these guidelines.
