Halloween 2020: Door-to-Door Trick or Treating Activities Not Permitted

Upon a Board motion executed at the 9-23-2020 special meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen, it is ordered to cancel door-to-door trick or treat activities during Halloween on October 31st, 2020 as a precautionary measure to aid in mitigating the spread of COVID-19.

Press Release

The City of Cleveland is issuing this reminder that we remain under a state of local emergency due to the continuing need to stop the spread of COVID-19.  Halloween activities are a special time for children, but like so many things in 2020 the practice of going door to door for trick or treating will not be allowed this year.  The City urges everyone to limit Halloween activities to small gatherings which provide for social distancing.
