The Cleveland Municipal Airport is a General Aviation (GA) Type II Airport Facility and is located two miles northwest of the City of Cleveland in Bolivar County.  Access to the Airport is provided by Highway No. 8 and Ronaldman Road.  The Airport’s runway (Rwy 17/35), which is 4,006’ x 75’ is supported by a full parallel taxiway.  Navigational aids at the Airport include Medium Intensity Runway Lights (MIRLs), Precision Approach Path Indicators (PAPIs), rotating beacon, segmented circle, lighted wind cone, and an AWOS III.  NDB and GPS approaches are available to aid pilots during periods of reduced visibility.  Facilities include a municipal terminal building, two conventional hangars, 33 T-hanger units, and 49 paved tie-down spaces.  Services available to pilots include aviation fuel (AvGas and JetA), aircraft sales and rental, and flight instruction.

Plans are currently underway to extend the runway by another 1,000 feet bringing the total runway length to 5,006 feet.  City officials hope to break ground sometime during 2011 on this project.
